THE WILDSTAR ACADEMY IS OPEN TO NEW APPLICANTS

We are looking for talented individuals with previous experience in the world of TV, film or content creation who are eager to continue their professional development and benefit from the support of award-winning wildlife film makers.

The successful candidates will meet the below criteria:

  • Be from a group currently underrepresented in Wildlife Filmmaking such as females, indigenous people, disabled and neurodivergent candidates, and Black, Asian and minority ethnic candidates.

  • Have a demonstrable/proven level of experience in television/content production and a desire to progress in the world of TV, film or content creation.

  • Have a passion for the natural world.

WHAT WE ARE OFFERING

We have two paid training opportunities available; both will benefit from the mentorship of award-winning industry leaders and hands on training. We are open to applications from any area of production, production management and post-production. So, whether you’re a producer, camera person, production co-ordinator, editor or colourist we want to hear from you!

Bristol, UK

Based from the Wildstar offices, this is suited to someone who wants to gain more experience in production management, editorial/creative or post production.

ON LOCATION, GLOBALLY.

This is suited to someone with some demonstrable skill and experience of field craft; directing, camerawork or camera assisting. The successful candidate will receive mentorship and hands ontraining from industry professionals on location during Wildstar shoots. The number, location and length of these shoots will be appropriate to the successful candidate
